Riding the bobsleigh-skeleton track
An Olympic track awaits you. The bobsleigh-skeleton track is in the resort of La Plagne. The run was often used even before La Plagne became a ski resort in its own right. Athletes competed on it during the 1992 Albertville Olympic Games.
The Bob Raft
You can enjoy exciting activities such as the Bob Raft. Climb aboard this incredible vehicle and enjoy the thrill of sliding with your family. It can hold up to 4 people. It has an automatic guidance and braking system, guaranteeing optimal safety. Allow €49 per person. Find all the details in our article on bobsleigh in La Plagne.
The Speed Luge
For big thrills, this is exactly what you need! With the Speed Luge, you will pick up speed and enjoy a magnificent view of the track. Just watch out for the 19 bends waiting for you. Allow €119 per person.
Bob Racing
Unlike the Bob Raft, this is a real race. The machine's top speed can reach 120 km/h. Allow €135 per person.
Zorbing, or human bowling
This is far from the classic version of this exciting game. Here, you are the ball! Zorbing is life-size bowling. You are inside a plastic sphere, and your goal is to knock down as many inflatable pins as possible. Your speed can reach 50 km/h.
A ride in the sky to admire the Alps
Fancy getting some height? You can fly up to 3,000 metres in a microlight aircraft. Accompanied by Franck Toussaint, a master of the discipline, you will fly over the Alps and discover the magnificent Alpine landscapes around La Plagne.
Ski Hok
After so many thrills, it is time to come back down to earth for a Ski Hok outing. It is a discipline very accessible to budding skiers: the skis are shorter and easier to handle. Here again, you will discover sublime Alpine landscapes.
Snow karting
We end on a high with this new experience. Snow karting is a 100% French invention. The activity is ideal for those who cannot ski but want to enjoy the fun of sliding.
Sébastien’s tipThese Olympic-track rides require good physical condition, especially Bob Racing with its peaks of 120 km/h: avoid doing them all on the same day if you are not used to thrills. Also book the microlight flight early in the morning, wind conditions in the mountains are often more stable before midday.
